POUNDS was developed for use on each horse according to the results needed. Larger amounts during heavy training and lactation. Smaller amounts for light training and idle times.
We suggest going back to basic feeds such as dry oats, good quality grass hay and a small flake of alfalfa (as a treat).
Rations should be between 4 to 12 oz. daily depending on results wanted or training level. Feed one half in morning, one half at night. Mix thoroughly with grain ration.
