Foxy
came back to me March 2009 in horrible condition after leasing him
out to a guy for 4 years! He was 23 years of age and in bad shape.
I have owned this wonderful horse since he was 3 months old. This
horse had been through both my kids, my neices and nephews, friends
kids, nieghbors and so on as well as winning me saddles, buckles,
trophys and everyones hearts. He was not just a horse, he was family.
I felt horrible when I saw him. You could see every bone in his
body, his coat was dull and full of rain rot! When i picked him
up he had lost the sparkle in his eyes and he looked as if he was
done. It took me a few more months to bring him home permanently.
I had to drop him off at a relatives and they worked to get his
weight up but he would not regain like he used to...he was better
but not the old Foxy Roo. He finally came home in July 2009. We
started him on POUNDS and the equine senior diet he had been on.
The weight started coming on. His body had been down for so long
and his age, it was going to take some time to see him finally recover
completely! He is now back to his old self at 24 years of age! I
attest every bit of his recovery to POUNDS! In fact he is so healthy
now I have had to restrict him a bit as he was getting over fat
and looking as if was going to foal!! His sparkle and life has come
back to Foxy Roo the horse that we all know!
I have fed POUNDS for over 10 years and have seen it do some amazing
things as well as keep my horses healthy with no colic, no tying
up, excellent hooves, gorgeous coats and building muscles. I travel
all over the country taking my horses with me and every time I go
somewhere I get comments on how well my horses look! My horses always
seem to outshine the others. A product that keeps my horses healthy
traveling thousands of hard miles plus bringing back a old friend...as
long as POUNDS is around my horses will be eating it!
The first photo is of him July 2009 when he was finally able to
come home.
The second was taken May 2010 after spending the winter at home
in North Idaho!
